FM Demeke Mekonnen inaugurates Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara, Turkey

Addis Ababa, Feburay 15, 2021 (FBC) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen has inaugurated the Embassy of Ethiopia in Ankara, Turkey.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has also presided over the inauguration ceremony.

It is to be recalled that the foundation stone of the Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara was laid former President Mulatu Teshome four years ago, and the building has been under construction since then.

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on the occasion the inauguration of the building of the embassy headquarters will have a crucial role in cementing ties between Turkey and Ethiopia.
