FM Taye expresses deepest condolences to Somalia on terrorist attack

Addis Ababa, February 14, 2024 (FBC) – Foreign Minister Taye Atske Selassie, on behalf of the government and people of Ethiopia, expresses his deepest condolences to the people and government of the Federal Republic of Somalia and the bereaved families on the terrorist act in Mogadishu.

He said the cowardly attack of military officers on a training mission, is a despicable act that revealed the threat posed by terrorism to the peace and security of the region, which Ethiopia condemns in the strongest terms.

Taye further called on countries of the region to strengthen their cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
