Addis Ababa, July 25, 2021 ( FBC) – Soldiers and veterans of the military regime have pledged commitment to stand by the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) in any required mission aimed to defend the sovereignty of the country.

Rehabilitation and Development Association of Former Army organized an event at Meskel Square under the theme “No one can dismantle Ethiopia for here are her sons and daughters” to mobilize support for ENDF.

Chairperson of the Association, Sergeant Birhanu Amare reaffirmed readiness of former soldiers and veterans to fight alongside the ENDF against the terrorist TPLF which is now conspiring to dismantle the nation.

Public Relations Director of ENDF, Colonel Getnet Adane said members of the former army stood by the TPLF in times of need although it had illegally dissolved their army and left them with complicated problems. He appreciated their commitment to defend the nation from any potential threat.

The association has 287 branch offices in several parts of Ethiopia with a total of more than 1,000,000 members.
