GERD portrayal of Triumphant Ethiopia- President

Addis Ababa, August 12, 2022 (FBC) – In her remarks on the third successful completion of the filling of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), President Sahle-Work described the historic project as the portrayal of Triumphant Ethiopia.

“GERD has a meaning that goes beyond generating and supplying power because it is the real depiction of the victorious Ethiopia,” the President underlined.

The third completion of the filling of the fam shows how Ethiopians are able to be successful when they unite, she noted.

Ethiopia has officially announced the completion of the third filling of the GERD in a national ceremony held on Friday.
