Germany donates medical supplies worth €1M to Armed Forces Hospital

Addis Ababa, November 17, 2020 (FBC) – Embassy of Germany has donated medical supplies worth 1 Million Euros to the Ethiopian Armed Forces Comprehensive Specialized Hospital.

On the handover ceremony, Medical Supplies Department Head at the hospital, Brigadier General Yilma Mekante said that the donation will have a paramount significance in supporting service delivery in the institution.

The medical equipment support will also play a significant role in cementing longstanding relationship between Ethiopia and Germany, Brig.-Gen Yilma underlined.

Head of the German Defence Force Technical Advisory Team, Colonel Andrei Scoffis, to his part, reaffirmed continued support to the hospital, and described the donation as a symbol of military cooperation between German and Ethiopia.
