Gov’t committed to enhancing diaspora engagement in Ethiopia’s dev’t undertakings: State Minister

Addis Ababa, December 20, 2023 (FBC) – State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, visited a company Niklaus LNI SA, which is owned and managed by Ethiopian-born entrepreneur, Andenet Ras-Work (Andy) in Geneva.

The company produces some of the most beautiful writing instruments as well as luxury lighters, and decorates the components of prestigious timepiece movements.

On November 2,2023, the company was recognized and awarded by the Swiss Venture Club, a prestigious organization that has been highlighting successful companies for over 20 years.

Speaking on his visit, State Minister Mesganu congratulates Ato Andenet Ras-Work for this well-deserved recognition and success.

He also encouraged him to bring the expertise and skills he had acquired abroad to Ethiopia and to invest in the technology sector. The State Minister has affirmed the government’s commitment to enhance the diaspora engagement in the country’s development.
