Health Minister discusses with new UNICEF Ethiopia representative

Addis Ababa, February 6, 2023 (FBC) – The Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Taddese, discussed with the new representative of the UN International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to Ethiopia, Aboubacar Kampo.

The Minister stated that she and the UNCEF representative had a fruitful discussion on children’s health, nutritious food, emergency responses, and other issues that they are working on together.

She appreciated UNICEF for its support and partnership with the FDRE Ministry of Health.

Dr Lia also confirmed that she is looking forward to further strengthening the Ministry’s partnership with UNICEF.
