Hostile intervention through Djibouti’s territory won’t happen: Djiboutian FM

Addis Ababa, November 16, 2021 (FBC) – Djibouti’s Foreign Affairs Minister tweeted that the country’s territory will not be used for hostile intervention in neighboring countries.

Djibouti’s Foreign Affairs Minister Mahmoud Ali Youssouf tweets:“Some expressed the concern about Djibouti’s territory being used for hostile intervention in the neighboring countries. That is not going to happen for the Djiboutian Government is attached to its relations with its neighbors.”

According to EPA, the tweet comes following BBC’s interview with HOA Joint Task Force Commander Maj. Gen. William Zana that he said the US forces there are ready to respond to the “crises” in Ethiopia particular to those related with the U.S. diplomatic missions including US citizens, dual citizens, or those from other countries.
