House approves 561.67 Billion Birr budget for 2021/2022 Ethiopian fiscal year
Addis Ababa, July 5, 2021 (FBC) – The House of Peoples Representatives, in its 4th especial session, has approved the 561.67 Billion Birr draft budget the Council of Ministers referred to it last month.
The Budget and Finance Standing Committee of the Parliament has given detailed explanations on the budget allocated for the already started Ethiopian budget year.
Out of the total proposed budget, 162 billion Birr has been allocated for government spending, 183.5 billion Birr for capital expenditure, 203.95 billion Birr for regional states’ budget and 12 billion Birr for implementation of sustainable development goals.
