House demands measure against Tigray-based media engage in spread of disinformation

Addis Ababa, November 8, 2020 (FBC) – House of Federation has called for measure against Tigray-based media houses which are spreading disinformation and causing uncertainty among the people.

Speaker of the House of Federation, Adem Farah demanded corrective action against media which are working in an unconstitutional manner in a way to cause disorder in the country.

He called up on authorized institutions to enforce constitutional laws passed to regulate activities of media and take corrective measures against those which violate the rules accordingly.
