Indian pharmaceutical, textile companies show interest to invest in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, February 20, 2024 (FBC) – An Indian trade and investment delegation paid a work visit to Ethiopia and held consultations with high level government officials.

The Indian delegation held a meeting with Deputy Commissioners of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Dagato Kumbe and Zeleke Temesgen (PhD) on how to enter the Ethiopian market.

Members of the delegation who represented companies engaged in pharmaceuticals, textile, ICT and agriculture have expressed interest to invest in Ethiopia.

The commissioners assured members of the delegation of government’s commitment to provide them with all the necessary support in creating favorable condition in their areas of interest.
