Israel donates 14 tons of relief supplies to IDPs in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, December 20, 2021 (FBC) – The Government and people of Israel have donated 14 ton of relief supplies to people who have been displaced due to aggression of the terrorist TPLF.

The supplies donated by Israel to IDPs include, among others, canes, wheelchairs, cloths and medical and sanitation supplies.

During the handover ceremony, Women and Social Affairs Minister, Ergoge Tesfaye (PhD) said the support would help strengthen the longstanding relationship between the two countries and transform fraternity and cooperation between the two peoples to a higher level.

Israel’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Alelign Admasu, for his part, said the support is the manifestation of the people-to-people ties between the two countries, pledging commitment of his country to continue assistance to Ethiopia in addressing challenges in the health and other social spheres.
