Italy grants 5mln Euro to Addis Ababa’s river side development

Addis Ababa, November 18, 2022 (FBC) – The Government of Italy has announced a 5 million Euro support to the river side development activities being undertaken by the City Administration of Addis Ababa.

The grant was announced at a time when Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie and Ambassador of Italy to Ethiopia, Augostino PALASE discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

During their discussion, the two focused on supporting the river side development endeavor, construction of medium playing fields and promotion of cultural cooperation between peoples of the two nations.

Mayor Adanech, on behalf of the people and Government of Ethiopia, thanked the Italian Government for the financial support.
