Japan assists primary school project in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, December 10, 2020 (FBC) -Japan has donated more than $90,000 for the construction of a library and teachers’ rooms of Temenja Yaj primary school, Kirkos sub-city, Addis Ababa.

The grant agreement was signed today in the presence of ITO Takako, Ambassador Designate Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ethiopia, and Abate Kelbe, director of the school.

Under this project, one new building with a library floor and five teachers’ rooms with furniture will be constructed at the Temenja Yaj primary school.

Japan has implemented over 400 projects across Ethiopia since the  Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) was introduced in 1989.
