Korea Water Resources Corporation pledges to support water, energy projects in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, June 16, 2022 (FBC) – The water and Energy Minister Habtamu Itefa (PhD) held discussion with Shin Kunjin, Director General of Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-Water) for Africa and Europe countries.

The two discussed various areas of collaboration including fluoride treatment in Rift Valley areas of Ethiopia. Shin Kunjin said South Korea is committed to continue support to development endeavors in Ethiopia particularly projects underway in water and energy sectors.

The Director General visited projects being financially assisted by the South Korean government.
