Korean company EKOS STEEL Mill P.L.C to attract peers to Ethiopia  

Addis Ababa, October 27, 2021 (FBC) – State Minister of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Ambassador Redwan Hussein discussed with CEO the Korean company EKOS STEEL Mill P.L.C Shell H. Choo.

On the occasion, the CEO called for government’s continued support so that it can utilize its maximum capacity of production.

He said the company has been working with the Ethiopian Embassy in Seoul to attract peer companies in Korea to the Ethiopian investment climate. There are Korean companies that showed interest to engage in industrial parks development in Ethiopia, he indicated.

The CEO also announced a plan to organize an agricultural machinery exhibition at its premises in Dukem industrial district.

State Minister Ambassador Redwan, for his part, appreciated EKOS STEEL Mill P.L.C participation in enhancing the manufacturing sector in Ethiopia, pledging government’s support to eligible Korean companies that are interested to join the Ethiopian market and contribute to technology transfer endeavors in the country.
