Magnitude 6.6 Earthquake Recorded Off Coast of Chile – Seismologists

MOSCOW, October 31 (Sputnik) – An earthquake of magnitude 6.6 was recorded off the coast of Chile, the National Center for Seismology said on Tuesday.

The earthquake was recorded at 9:33 local time (12:33 GMT). The epicenter was located 55 kilometers (34.1 miles) southwest of the Chilean city of Huasco, at a depth of 38 kilometers.

There has been no information about any possible casualties and destruction.
