Mayor Adanech Abiebie honored with distinguished accolades by Trinity Int’l University
Addis Ababa, October 25, 2023 (FBC) – The Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie has been honored with Distinguished Accolades by Trinity International University of Ambassadors Corp. Florida and the State of Georgia.
The State of Georgia and Trinity International University of Ambassadors Corp. Florida celebrated the extraordinary achievements of Her Excellency Dr. Adanech Abiebie Dessa on October 21, 2023.
In a ceremony graced by esteemed personalities, including Georgia State Representatives, Rep. Billy Mitchell, Rep. Dewey McClain, Rep. Sandra Scott, and Senator Gail Devenport, alongside Mr. Bryan Benefiel, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and Mrs. Monique Vanderpool and other high level officials, Dr. Adanech Abiebie Dessa was presented with the distinguished Honorary Doctorate from Trinity International University of Ambassadors Corp. Florida and the prestigious Honorary Georgia Citizen Award.
On the occasion, Mayor Dr. Adanech Abiebie Dessa affirmed, “I stand before you today with deep gratitude and humility, accepting the prestigious honorary doctorate from Trinity International University of Ambassadors and the esteemed Georgia Honorary Citizens award from the State of Georgia. I would like to offer my praise to the Almighty God, whose guiding light has shaped my life’s path, and to all those who have contributed to my journey along the way. My journey signifies more than a personal triumph; it stands as a testament to the transformative force of determination and the unwavering support of family.
The Mayor added that, “This path has been a collective endeavor, made possible by the steadfast backing of my family, community, coworkers, and the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed.”
Rep. Billy Mitchell stated, “Her Excellency Dr. Adanech Abiebie Dessa’s steadfast dedication to public service and her remarkable leadership have set a remarkable example for leaders around the world. We are honored to recognize her exceptional contributions to the State of Georgia and beyond.”
