Menschen für Menschen provides 100mln Birr worth of drought response support for Borena zone

Addis Ababa, April 11, 2023 (FBC) – Menschen Für Menschen Foundation has provided 100 million birr support to citizens who need help due to drought in Borena zone of Oromia region.

The Menschen Für Menschen Ethiopia country office representative handed over the support to Tolosa Gadafa, Head of the Oromia Regional Finance Bureau.

The support includes 2,510 quintals of corn flour, 8,400 liters of oil, 255 quintals of peas, 265 quintals of nutritious food and other resources, according to the regional communication affairs bureau.

Founded in 1989 by Karlheinz Böhm, Menschen für Menschen began its work in Ethiopia through the provision of relief aid in Erer valley, East Hararghe. It has been implementing multi-sector integrated rural development projects and currently running several integrated rural development projects in Ethiopia.
