MFA announces repatriation of 1,931 Ethiopians from Saudi Arabia

Addis Ababa, June 27, 2021 (FBC) – Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that 1,931 undocumented Ethiopian migrants from Jeddah and Riadh on Saturday.

The Ministry indicated that the repatriation has been carried out with six charter flights. According to the ministry, 1252 returnees are from Riadh while the remaing 679 are from Jeddah.

Returnees were accorded a welcome from officials of the Ministry of foreingn affairs and other dignitaries upon thier arrival at Bole International Airport.
