Minister of State for Planning and Development confers with COP28 CEO
Addis Ababa, June 6, 2023 (FBC) – State Minister for Planning and Development, Sandokan Debebe discussed with Adnan Amin, CEO of the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
Saying that UAE is a close partner for Ethiopia, the State Minister stated that the country has been finalizing preparations to participate in the 28th session of Conference of the Parties to be held in Dubai in coming December.
Adnan Amin, for his part, called on Ethiopia to play its leading role representing African and the Least Developed Countries towards the success of COP28.
The two sides agreed to expedite efforts to materialize the agreement reached by Ethiopia and UAE to foster their cooperation on climate change and related sectors.
