Ministry of Finance appropriates supplementary budget of 122 billion birr

Addis Ababa, December 30, 2021 (FBC) – Ministry of Finance has appropriated a 122 billion birr supplementary budget of 122 billion birr to finance reconstruction, rehabilitation and security activities.

Supplementary budget will also be allocated to humanitarian operations and assistance to people affected by the conflict.

The budget will be disbursed as soon as the House of Peoples Representatives approves the resolution referred to it by the Council of Ministers on Wednesday.

It is to be recalled that the Government of Ethiopia appropriated over 561.7 billion Birr for the current fiscal year.
