More than 6,000 farmers in Oromia turn into investors with over 30bn Birr capital

Addis Ababa, February 17, 2021 (FBC) – More than 6,000 farmers in Oromia Regional State have transformed in to investors engaging in various businesses activities with a capital of over 30 Billion Birr.

Rural Development Cluster Coordinator in a rank of Deputy President of Oromia, Dr. Girma Amente announced transformation of over 6,000 farmers in various investment activities with a huge capital.

He stated that a wide range of activities are underway to enable the farmers achieve better results in areas of agro-processing, manufacturing and service businesses.
