Secondary school exit national exam successfully completed – Gov’t

Addis Ababa, October 21, 2022 (FBC) – The 2022 grade 12th national examination has been effectively completed, according to the statement from FDRE Government Communication Service.

The Government Communication Service statement claims that the growth and prosperity of the country is ensured by the quality of moral and knowledge manpower.

Ethiopia has formulated its policies and procedures accordingly. This initiative has been implemented through a thoroughly researched educational roadmap, says the statement.

According to the statement, the country proceeded with the preparation and implementation of the exciting new curriculum. Educational leaders, teachers and parents are working in great coordination.

As a part of this transformational work, the process of evaluating students in an authentic and scientific way has shown great progress, the statement declares.

As a part of this change, the 2022 secondary school exit exam was completed with great success as a follow-up to his efforts, the statement further declares.

“The strengths and weaknesses of the [first round] social science exam were reviewed and the work done during the natural science exam [second round] was very impressive. Hence, the natural science examination program has also been successfully completed across the country”, it reads.

“The success of this exam can be a benchmark to other competency assessments and it should be implemented in other national assessments. It taught a lesson that students at all levels should rely on their own efforts. It also assured that the door of fraud is closing in education and life, work and public responsibilities”, it further reads.

On the other hand, this exam process asserted only self-effort and self-confidence will be the way to success in future Ethiopia, the statement indicated.

The exam shows the capacity of the country to move forward, feed, lodge, and maintain health and security for nearly one million students and teachers.

The way in which the people in all areas lovingly welcomed, shared their culture, and gave tour of the tourist attractions to the invigilators who went to give the exams strengthens the fraternity of Ethiopians.

The government would like to express its gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of this historic work from preparation to completion, the statement concludes.
