Nature demonstrates positive outcomes of Ethiopia’s Green Legacy endeavors: PM Abiy Ahmed

Addis Ababa, August 12, 2022 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed attended the closing session of this year’s Green Legacy Initiative led tree planting session in the historical town of Harar.

The Prime Minister and the First Lady Zinash Tayachew along with regional and federal high officials planted trees in the town.

The resurrection of Haramaya Lake is a symbolic achievement showing how the Green Legacy Initiative is enabling the nation to restore its lost resources, Premier underlined.

“Harar is a site of love and peace. On the eve of the closing of this year’s Green Legacy activity, we plant our print in a place that nature demonstrates the positive outcome of our Green Legacy endeavors,” the Prime Minister said.
