Outgoing Ethiopian Ambassador pays courtesy call on S Sudan Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation Minister

Addis Ababa, January 27, 2021 (FBC) – Outgoing Ethiopian Ambassador to South Sudan, Teferi Taddesse has paid a farewell courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Sudan, Beatrice Wani.

On the occasion, Ambassador Teferi expressed gratitude for South Sudanese government for the collaboration and support throughout his tenure in the country.

Minister Beatrice, to her part, has acknowledged Ethiopia’s uninterrupted support to South Sudan regardless of the changes in governments.

Furthermore, she commended the ambassador’s contributions in solidifying the already existing strong relations between the two sisterly countries.

Ambassador Teferi also highlighted the importance of revitalizing the existing bilateral agreements to the full utilization of the two sisterly nations.

He stressed need to speed up implementation of the road projects that are aimed to connect the two nations for enormous socio-economic mutual benefits.

Ambassador Teferi finally underscored his belief that the two countries’ deep relations will further grow stronger with the incoming new ambassador too.
