Patriarch calls for peace, reconciliation in Demera festival message

Addis Ababa, September 26, 2022 (FBC) – In his message on the celebration of the Demera festical in Addis Ababa, Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Abune Matias called on Ethiopians to exert efforts for peace and reconciliation to end the conflict.

“Every problem has a solution,” the Patriarch underscored, calling Ethiopians to give forgiveness and love a chance for peace and unity to prevail in Ethiopia.
