Peace Minister, WFP chief arrive in Mekelle to see humanitarian aid deliveries

Addis Ababa, February 6, 2021 (FBC) –A delegation led by Muferihat Kamil, Minister of Peace, and David Beasley, Executive Director for WFP, has arrived in Mekelle, Tigray regional state.

During their stay in the regional state, they will see the delivery of humanitarian aid in the city of Mekelle and its environs as well as Qwiha area.

The delegation is also expected to hold discussion with interim administration of Tigray and officials of the National Disaster Risk Management Commissioner on progress of humanitarian aid deliveries.
