PM Abiy Ahmed inaugurates Defense Specialized Referral Hospital

Addis Ababa, May 18, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed today inaugurated the Defense Specialized Referral Hospital’s state-of-the-art facility located in Bishoftu town, Oromia region.

After inaugurating the Referral Hospital’s facility, the Prime Minister noted on social media, “The Defense Specialized Referral Hospital we inaugurated is a state-of-the-art facility located in Bishoftu, featuring a molecular laboratory, bone densitometry center, biomedical engineering department, and various essential medical services such as dialysis, neurology, and pulmonology.”

According to him, the facility is one of the leading hospitals in Ethiopia, serving as an emblem of the ability of generations to bring visionary projects to life for the benefit of citizens.

During the inaugural ceremony, PM Abiy was joined by First Lady Zinash Tayechew, Defense Minister Abraham Belay, Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces Field Marshal General Berhanu Jula, and other senior officials.
