PM Abiy Ahmed launches SNNPR Green Legacy Initiative in Gedeo Zone

Addis Ababa, July 3, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, First Lady Zinash Tayachew and a high level Federal and Regional delegation launched the SNNPR Green Legacy initiative in Gedeo Zone of the region.

Marking the occasion, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed appreciated the people of Gedeo for preserving a green environment and reiterated the importance of preserving their peace as well.

“Peace without due investments and efforts cannot be sustained. Alongside our development initiatives like Green Legacy, it is paramount we work in unison in cultivating our collective peace,” the Premier noted.
