PM Abiy Ahmed receives Rwandan FM Vincent Biruta

Addis Ababa, August 11, 2023 (FBC) – In continued diplomatic engagements, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed received Vincent Biruta, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda at his office this morning.

Ethiopia and Rwanda have forged solid and longstanding bilateral cooperation since they established diplomatic relations in late 1970s, with numerous bilateral cooperation agreements signed, spanning across various sectors, the Office of the Prime Minister said.

Following their discussions, they also planted Green Legacy seedlings within Unity Park.
