PM Abiy discusses with South African FM

Addis Ababa, July 31, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) received Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa Naledi Pandor at the Office of the Prime Minister this afternoon, the Office of the Prime Minister announced.

The discussions centered on further enhancing diplomatic ties, augmenting economic and trade relations, collaboration on science and technology education as well as on common regional and global development issues.

Following the completion of the meeting, they planted green legacy seedlings within the PMO compound, the PM Office stated.

It is to be recalled that the South African high-level delegation led by Minister Naledi Pandor has arrived in Addis Ababa yesterday for the Joint Ministerial Commission meeting which kicked off this morning at Skylight Hotel.
