PM Abiy extends best wishes to Chinese for Year of the Dragon

Addis Ababa, February 10, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed today extended his best wishes to the people and government of China on the occasion of the Chinese Year of the Dragon.

In a message published on his X account, the Prime Minister noted, “Extending heartfelt wishes for a vibrant and auspicious Chinese New Year to people and government of China. May the Year of the Dragon usher in abundance and success.”

In 2024, the Chinese New Year falls on February 10, marking the beginning of the Year of the Dragon. According to Chinese astrology, each year is associated with one of twelve animals, and the characteristics of these animals are believed to influence the traits of people born in that year.
