PM encourages Ethiopians to compete for ABH prize

Addis Ababa, May 22, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed has encouraged Ethiopians to compete for African Business Heroes’ Prize which is initiated by Chinese Billionaire Jack Ma.

“Responding to the call to innovate during the COVID 19 period, I have observed many productive ideas under development.” said the Premier.

The Prime Minister said Jack Ma shared the African Business Heroes initiative aimed at supporting entrepreneurs creating impact.

Dr. Abiy further called upon all Ethiopian creative entrepreneurs to apply and compete for the prize regionally.

It is to be recalled that Jack Ma Foundation has launched the second edition of Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) prize competition on April 7, 2020 to reward budding entrepreneurs who are making a difference in the lives of local communities.
