PM, First Lady hand over keys to homes renovated over the rainy season

Addis Ababa, August 29, 2023 (FBC) – Early this morning, PM Abiy Ahmed and First Lady Zinash Tayachew handed over keys to homes renovated for the impoverished and the elderly in Addis Ababa over the rainy season. In early May of this year, the 2023 annual home renovations program was launched by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

The building which has been constructed in a speedy manner considering quality also includes shops for retail, the Office of the Prime Minister said.

“A government cannot change a country if it does not change its own premises and the surrounding areas,” said the Prime Minister referring to the handover of the homes to the recipients.

“Everyone has to initiate change within their own immediate environment,” the Prime Minister said.
