PM hails remarkable results of irrigated horticulture production

Addis Ababa, December 26, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has lauded the remarkable results achieved in irrigated horticulture production thanks to the efforts undertaken to increase the production.

In a message published on his social media page this morning, the Prime Minister noted that the country’s ten year perspective plan for agricultural development seeks to expand horticulture development, which includes fruits, among other key focus areas for the sector.

“The efforts being made in increasing irrigated horticulture production are showing remarkable results as evidenced through papaya productivity endeavours,” the Premier noted.
