PM thanks his supporters for solidarity rallies staged in Oromia

Addis Ababa, February 2, 2021 (FBC) –Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended his thanks to all who staged rallies in Oromia regional state in support of him and his government.

People across Oromia regional state this morning held rallies carrying flags and chanting slogans in support of the Prime Minister and his government.

“Thank you so much for the voice of solidarity rallies held throughout Oromia,” the Prime Minister wrote on Facebook.

“The special mission of the government is only to serve the people. We, servants of the public at all levels should learn that such support is a call from the people to effectively fulfil our responsibilities,” he said.

“Thank you all residents of Oromia regional state for the massive movement demonstrated today,” he said.
