Postal services unveil Ethiopia-china commemorative stamp

Addis Ababa, May 15, 2021 (FBC) – In connection with the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Ethiopa-china formal diplomatic relations, Ethiopian and Chinese postal services launched yesterday a commemorative joint stamp to renew the two countries’ commitment to further strengthen ties.

According to EPA, the new stamp contains Sheger Park Friendship Square and Beijing Olympic Forrest Park. It is jointly published by Ethiopian and Chinese postal services.

During the launching ceremony, Ministry of Ethiopian Foreign Affairs Asia and the Pacific Director General Molalign Asfaw said that : “ The past fifty years have witnessed monumental changes not only globally, but also within our two brotherly countries.”

He added saying: “Since its form and opening up, China has registered what could be described as phenomenal transformation that assured the country into the position of the largest economy”.
