PP Vice President Adem Farah holds talks with Chinese ambassador to Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, April 11, 2016 (FBC) Vice president of the Prosperity Party (PP), Adem Farah, held talks with China’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Zhao Zhiyuan on issues of common interest.

In their discussion, the two have exchanged views on widening mutual benefits, enhancing diplomatic relations and expanding investment ties between Ethiopia and China.

The longstanding relations between Ethiopia and China has continued to grow and the partnership between Ethiopia’s Prosperity Party and the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) is flourishing consistently, Adem Farah noted.

The two parties have so far signed cooperation agreement on areas of education, capacity building and experience sharing.

“The recent fruitful visit of a delegation of senior officials of the Prosperity Party to China is part of the agreement,” Adem indicated.

He further pointed out that it is PP’s desire to strengthen party-to-party partnership with CPC in areas of capacity building and experience sharing programs.

Ambassador Zhao Zhiyuan, for his part, appreciated the efforts being exerted by PP towards the prosperity of Ethiopia.

The Ambassador further reiterated commitment to further enhance relations between China and Ethiopia at both the party-to-party and government-to-government levels.
