President Sahle-Work attends 61st Burundi’s 61st Independence Day

AddisnAbaba, July 1, 2023 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde has attended the 61st Anniversary of the Independence of Burundi in Bujumbura.

On the anniversary, President Sahle-Work extended her congratulatory message to President Evariste Ndayishimaye and people of Burundi on the National Day.

Military parade and other events took place as part of the celebration of Burundi’s Independence Day. Other African leaders have also sent their best wishes to Burundians on the National Day.
