President Sahle-Work Zewde visits “MadeInEthiopia” expo

Addis Ababa, May 10, 2023 (FBC) – The President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Sahle-Work Zewde, visited today the 2023 “MadeInEthiopia” (Ethiopia Tamrt) expo, being held at the Millennium Hall.

Opened on May 6, 2023, the role of the Expo in bridging the collaboration gap between the manufacturer and the financial provider institutions as well as enabling them to work closely for the development of the sector is high, it is noted.

It is also mentioned that efforts are being made to create a convenient financial supply system for the private sector.

The Ministry of Industry has indicated that attention is being paid to resource linkages to develop the manufacturing industry sector.

Since the opening of the Expo, several panel discussions were held under the theme of “Ethiopian policy framework for industrial linkages”.

The expo has showcased Ethiopia’s great potential in the sector. It is said to be a good opportunity to attract local and foreign investors to the industry sector in Ethiopia.

It is stated that the MadeInEthiopia (Ethiopia Tamrt) Expo is expected to conclude today.
