President Sahle-Work Zewde’s message on International Women’s Day

Addis Ababa March 8, 2023 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde has issued a special message on International Women’s Day, stressing the need to preserve spirit of the commemoration 365 days a year with assiduousness.

She delivered her message of the Day to all Ethiopian Women living in all corners of the world.

The Day is but a reminder to shape today as well as the future in a way to ensure equality and benefit of women in all sectors, calling all to stay diligent in their efforts towards a better Ethiopia.

President Sahle-Work further called on women to exert collective efforts based on a common agenda to break the chain of the vicious circle of the problems they are facing.

She further urged all stakeholders to play their part in realizing full participation of women in all national activities.
