Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrives in Sharm el-Sheikh for UNFCCC COP27
Addis Ababa, November 6, 2022 (FBC) – The EDRE Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and his delegation have arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
The Prime Minister and his delegation headed to Egypt to participate in the 27th edition of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP27).
The 27th Conferrnce of the Parties (COP 27) to the UNFCCC is scheduled from Sunday, 6 November to Friday, 18 November 2022.
COP 27 was originally expected to take place from 8-20 November 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, COP 26 was rescheduled from November 2020 to November 2021.
