Protecting Ethiopia means protecting Africa: Scholar

Addis Ababa, November 13, 2021 (FBC) – An Assistant Professor at Center for African and Oriental Studies at Addis Ababa, Samuel Tefera (PhD), called on Africans to stand with Ethiopians in fighting against media campaign being orchestrated against the country.

Samuel said Ethiopia is a pioneer state in the Pan-Africanism, adding that “the conflict Ethiopians are in is not only the conflict related to them; they are fighting the war on behalf of the rest of Africa”

He stressed need to defend the continent from the evils being propagated by western media in the name of liberal thought against Africa.

Samuel further urged journalists of the western media need to know how ethical journalism is, and provide their audience with credible information regarding what is really happening in Ethiopia.
