Public rally staged in Wolkite in support of ongoing national reform

Addis Ababa, April 20, 2024 (FBC) – A special public rally is currently being staged in Wolkite town, the capital of the Gurage zone in the central Ethiopia region, to demonstrate support for the ongoing nationwide reforms spearheaded by the incumbent Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed.

The event is graced by the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, the chief administrator of the Central Ethiopia Region, Mr. Endeshaw Tasew, along with other high-level federal and regional government officials.

Recall that similar public rallies were staged in various regions of Ethiopia over the past few weeks, demonstrating unity and backing for the ongoing inclusive reforms in Ethiopia since Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed came to power in 2018.
