Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for East Africa calls on UN agencies to scale up support to Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, December 11, 2022 (FBC) – Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the United Nations, Taye Atske Selassie discussed with Daniel Endres, UN Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for East Africa on various issues.

The two have exchanged views on the latest humanitarian developments and mechanisms put in place to support humanitarian efforts in drought affected areas, among others.

The Regional Humanitarian Coordinator stressed need for concerned UN agencies to scale up humanitarian support to people in need in Ethiopia.
