Residents Demand for New Gov’t Prioritizes National Sovereignty, Lasting Peace

Addis Ababa, October 5, 2021 (FBC) – Residents of Bahir Dar City in Amhara regional State, urged the newly formed government to focus on safeguarding Ethiopia’s national sovereignty and ensuring lasting peace.

Speaking to Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC), they thus underscored the need to immediately resolve the conflict happening in the northern part of the country, noting the crisis TPLF is causing.

They also expressed delight over the founding of the new government that has come to power by free and fair election held in June.
