Russian business delegation expresses interest to invest in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, February 4, 2021 (FBC) –Minister of Urban Development and Construction, Engineer Aisha Mohammed, yesterday received Russian business delegation.

Engineer Aisha discussed with members of the delegation that are drawn from construction, industry and information technology companies on investment opportunities available in urban development and construction sectors.

The Minister briefed the delegation about the huge investment potential available in housing sector and government’s interest to invite private and foreign firms to address the problem.

Members of the delegation for their part expressed their interest to engage in social infrastructure investment sectors, such as education and health.

According to the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction, the delegation pledged to take practical step and invest in Ethiopia soon.
