seedlings planted at National Palace in commemoration 60th anniversary of Osaka Marathon victory

Addis Ababa, June 25, 2021 (FBC) – Tree seedlings have been today planted at the Ntional Palace in the National palace in commemoration the victory of athletes Abebe Bikila and Wami Biratu in the Osaka marathon 60 years ago.

The veteran athlete Wami Biratu and Ambassador of Japan to Ethiopia, Ito Takako have attended the seedling planting program at the national palace.

Ambassador Ito Takao wishes good luck for Ethiopian athletes who will participate in the upcoming Tokyo Olympic.
