Senior gov’t officials visit cluster wheat farms in Bale, East Bale zones

Addis Ababa, December 29, 2022 (FBC) – The FDRE Minister of Agriculture, Omer Hussien, and other senior government officials visited cluster wheat farms in Bale and East Bale zones, Oromia region.

It is mentioned that after visiting the agricultural development activity, the minister is scheduled to discuss with farmers and investors engaged in the sector’s investment on the challenges encountered so far and next efforts.

Ethiopian News Agency’s report indicates that 144,000 hectares of land has been cultivated with different crops during the current harvest season in East Bale alone.
